Söderström emphasized that the team was pricing the service to ensure it aligned with the company’s and listeners’ expectations. Despite the delay, Spotify HiFi is still on track for launch, with plans to roll out the service in a manner that makes sense for all parties involved.
Originally slated for a late 2021 release, Spotify HiFi’s launch date is still to be announced.
